Can anyone join Castle & Minster?

If you live, work or go to school in Kirklees you can join Castle & Minster and benefit from our services.

What do I need to do to join?

It’s very simple – all you need to do is complete a membership application form and call in to one of our branches. 

What identification do I need?

You need to provide two of the following pieces of identification (one should be a photo I.D and the other should be proof of address):

• Passport
• Full driving licence
• Recent utility bill (from the last 3 months)
• Tenancy Agreement
• Letter from the Benefits Agency
• Council Tax bill

Don’t worry if you haven’t got any of the items listed, give us a ring and we will discuss alternatives.

Does it cost anything to join?

No it’s free to join. You just need to pay at least £1 into your account to activate it.

Can children join Castle & Minster?

Yes, and there is a special Young Savers account for children aged 0 -15 years, who either live or go to school in Kirklees.

If your school participates in our Honey Money Savers or Young Savers scheme you could also save through school.
